Alison Dickins will talk about the excavations carried out at Northstowe, a new town being developed on an old airfield site to the north-west of Cambridge. During excavations by the Cambridge Archaeological Unit before building work began, they found extensive archaeological remains, much of Iron Age and Roman date.
